The Church at Shawnee Landing

The Mission of The Church at Shawnee Landing is:

To be a family of God
Teaching the ways and words of Jesus
By reaching out in love and service
Here and throughout the World.

The purposes of The Church at Shawnee Landing shall be as revealed in the New Testament,

to win people to faith in Jesus Christ and commit them actively to the church,
to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ that increasingly they may know and do His will,
and to work for the unity of all Christians and with them engage in the common task of building the Kingdom of God.

We experience life in the church as two parts of a whole. One part is giving; one part is receiving.

We give our time and talents, our abilities and money because we are committed to Christ and His Church.

From Christ and the Church we receive enrichment and strength for daily living and we receive security and comfort as members of the household of faith.

We organize ourselves so all members of the Church can effectively share both giving and receiving in worship, study and service.
